In the Merchants of Atlantis Planetary-Magickal calculators, we input the number of hours from local time to UTC. Many time zone tables report the number of hours to add to UTC to get local time. Please use the following convention: Western Hemisphere uses Positive time zone numbers. This is shown in the table below:
